We all experience stress in our day-to-day lives. This inspired us to create a platform where we could get refreshed, motivated, relaxed by listening to music and other activities as per our mood without filling any type of forms.

About us Page

Challenges we faced
A major challenge that we encountered was finding a correct API to be integrated to retrieve the expressions of the user, basically using AI. Even, after we found an API called 'Face-API', it was tough for us to predict the exact expressions of the user, and redirect them to the respective page. Also, finding the best-suited assets and resources to be used in the web app, was absolutely a challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We built the web app from scratch beginning with designing the entire UI on Figma and then we progressively coded it.
- We made the website fully responsive to provide the best user experience from scratch.
- One of the accomplishments that we are absolutely proud of is that the way we managed to retrieve the final predicted expression, because that API doesn't provide us a direct way to do so.
What we learned
- Integration of Face APIs in JS
- Figma Prototyping
- Code Optimization
- Elevation of UI & UX
What's next for Peace In Space
- More resources with random selection in emotion recommendations
- Improvement in APIs & ML Model
- Switching to TF.js & OpenCV
- Taking the whole codebase to React ( for dynamic CMS )
